There are sports that capture the imagination and photographing them entails some degree of challenge and hardship.  There are others that can be safely captured from sitting down or standing on a touchline.

Many depict skills and talent beyond our own. Some, as evidenced, show fun and the hardy soul battling all odds to win or at the very least, take part.  The perennial Grove Grovellers football team feature heavily.  A more endearing bunch of chaps you’d struggle to meet, but wouldn’t struggle to beat.
